Athletic championship slated for Friday

The annual Gamstar sponsored athletic championship will take place on Friday, June 29 at the Independence Stadium, Bakau, press release from the Gambia Athletics Association has revealed.

Clubs that affiliated to the national athletic governing body, including municipal teams and security services are expected to compete in the keenly-awaited championship.

The Gambia Athletics Association is calling on all and sundry to come and support the national athletes, the current regional champions.
