GPA Move to Camp

The Gambia Ports Authority have finally moved to camp with a twenty man squad at the friendship hotel of The Independence Stadium in Bakau on Sunday 10th February 2008, ahead of their weekend encounter with Es Bingerville of Ivory Coast. The 5th edition of the Caf Confederation championship cup will be played on Saturday 16th February 2008 at The Independence Stadium in Bakau. Speaking with Pointsports on their preparation for the big encounter, Ebrima Cham Joof alias Lukeh head coach of the 2007 G FA FA cup Champions GPA, said his team is well prepared for the match. “Our players are well focused and the team is really in fact, we have a good squad and all the players are working very hard”. He stated the only absentee from the team will be Sanna Nyassi, who is nursing an injury, “But we have a good squad and the boys are well focused. We’ve got new players included in the team and they are all ready to make sure we collect the three points.” he stated. Author: By Ebou Manneh
