Real de Banjul number one goalie, Alhagie Jobe, alias Toldo, finally agreed to sign a 3 years contract with his team, Real de Banjul, on Friday 29 February 2008. This will keep him with the team until 2011. The 2007 league champions made no hesitation in signing the experienced goalkeeper to a new contract after the keeper initially refused to sign a 5year contract offered to him by his team at the beginning of the 2008 league season.

Jobe joined Real de Banjul in 2006 and appeared in 27 games with the city boys. He featured 21 times in the league and in 6 FA cup games.

It will be recalled that Alhagie Jobe, alias Toldo, captained The Gambia national team at the zone two tournament held last year in Guinea-Bissau.
