The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, last remanded two suspects on D500,000 bail as their case now goes to trial.

Prince Victor and Sarra Ousainou were each given bail in the sum of D500,000 and are due in court on 14 January for hearing of testimonies in their trial over allegation of obtaining money by false pretences.

On January 2nd, the duo appeared before magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh on suspicion of receiving half-a-million Dalasi from a certain Alhaji Baboucarr Bah. The money was allegedly obtained in return for a counterfeit vaccine.
