The national GSM operator, Gamcel, recently donated to Kombo South Development District Committee (KSDDC).

The donated items include 200 t-shirts, 200 sim cards, two Nokia mobile phones and two trophies.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, held at Gamcel head office in Kanifing, the branch Manager Mr. Almamy Gassama expressed his company’s readiness to promote and support sports in the country.

He revealed that Gamcel will continue to contribute immensely to the empowerment and development of Gambian youth.

“I am delighted today to present these materials to KSDDC and am sure this gesture will go a long way in promoting and empowering Gambian youth.

Receiving the donated items the Chairman of KSDDC, Mr. Buba Bojang, expressed appreciation to Gamcel for the valuable contribution to the promotion and empowerment of Gambian youth.

He assured the donors that the donated items will be put to good use.
