A high profile delegation from Upper Fulladu recently called on the Governor of the Central River Region, Alhagie Ganjie Touray, to convey their traditional Tobaski greeting to President Jammeh and also congratulate him on the recent birth of his son Muhammed Yahya Jammeh. Chief Biran Baldeh, and APRC candidates, Mrs. Amie Ceesay and Alhagie Neneh Mbye led the delegation to the office of the Governor.

Addressing the delegation Governor Alhagie Ganjie Touray commended them for their infinite support for President Jammeh and the APRC party. He urged them to maintain their cultural traditions which he described as significant to the society as a whole.

He also used the opportunity to call on all aspiring candidates who have not been selected to run to get behind the selected candidates in the interest of development. He urged those selected to work hard in conjunction with all aspirants to ensure the continued smooth running of the election campaign.

He urged all voters in the region to turn out in large numbers and vote for the APRC candidates in the forthcoming Local Government Elections.

The Chief of Upper Fulladu District, Seyfo Biran Baldeh, assured the Governor that the people of his district will vote massively for the APRC sponsored candidate. He says his assurance stems from the fact that President Jammeh has ushered in a new era of unprecedented development in the lives of the people.

The Alkalo of Bansang Alh. Kebba Korra and Bansang Ward selected candidate Amie Ceesay asserted that President Jammeh has invested in youth, education, culture and basic infrastructure such as roads schools and hospitals all over the country.

Alh. Dam Jagne, Alkalo of Galleh Manda, thanked Governor Touray for his dedication and hard work. He further said that all is due to his versatile mind and egalitarian attitude.
