Serign Njie was dragged to court by the very association he headed following his inability to make good a promise he earlier on made to the group.

He was consequently ordered to pay D15,826 to one Musa Camara who helped file in a suit against him on behalf of the association. The money was the sum paid to him to implement a project in Brufut but had failed to do so.
