A 32-year-old resident of Serekunda was late last week arraigned before a magistrates’ court in Western Region of The Gambia for being found in possession of a prohibited drug.

Bala Giddeh was on Thursday arraigned before magistrate Edrisa Mbai at Brikama Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with an alleged offence of being found in possession of 220g of marijuana.

He denied the allegation and will soon return to court for trial.
